My panting

We have learnt to hold our paint brush the right way and we have learnt to use the colours for painting.My artistic talents is doing colouring in and using the right colours to colour in.The hardest thing about the Artwrok was colouring in careful.The thing that I like about my artwork was the panting and drawing.Next year i am going to try to draw bigger.

Mitre Peak

Mitre Peak is a prominent and well-known peak on the south shore of Milford Sound.It is named Mitre Peak because it look’s like the bishop’s hat.Did you know that there is 5 Mountins not 1 mountine and did you know that Mitre Peak is 2000matres tall that is like up to the cloud. It is close to the shore of Milford Sound, in the Fjordland National Park.

Abel Tasman

Abel Tasman is located in the North end of South Island. It is in between Golden bay and
Tasman bay. Abel Tasman was named after a famous European man who was the first man to
see a beautiful Island. So then he named it new Zealand and then he anchored at Golden bay.

Manaiakalani film Festival

Manaiakalani is a group of 11 school from Glen Innes, that is about 2000 kids. We have a Film Festival every year. This means that you make a movie and then you send is to the Manaiakalani people and it doesn't matter if you have a bad movie. We went to Sylvia Park to watch out movies. There were a lot of us, I went in the second bus with all of my friends. My favorite movie was Me Tv by class 2. It was my favorite movie because it had a horror part at the end and I liked the bit when they were playing on the ps3. We watched it in a huge, dark, theater and it was called the biggest Extreme Screen. I cant wait until next year so we can make another amazing movie.

Cape Reinga

Cape Reinga is a beautiful view to watch the Tasman sea and the Pacific ocean crash. Cape Reinga is the most Northern point in New Zealand. Did you know that Cape Reinga is 500km from Auckland City?

Wellington

Wellington is the capital city of New Zealand it is the capital city because the government lives there. Wellington city sits on a beautiful harbour and there is a lot of hills over there and there is not much flat ground there. Landing at Wellington could be really bumpy because the wind is really strong over there.

Sarah C is an artist that lives in Mangawhai Heads. She began selling her limited edition range of artwork on corrugated iron. Suddenly she sold all her painting and more people demanded Sarah C's painting. People wanted to buy Sarah C painting and hang them on the fence or in the garden.

Superhero Reflection

We have been learning to be creative, use our Key Competencies work hard to overcome challenges and help others to be able to share our best.We have written a story and made a MTV to demonstrate this learning.This a reflection all about my cool learning.I am Amazing

 My favourite movie was Maypo and angles.

 The reason why that movie was so good was because it was so funny and it had a lot of detail.

 The best part of my movie was when Justus was flying off the table.

 The best thing about my group was that we all did lots of cool things.

 My movie could have been better if we worked hard. I demonstrated self management by doing the right thing.
 I demonstrated thinking by creating the moving with Javan and Justus.

 I demonstrated participation by joining in and thinking about what are we going to do after.

Caring about someone feeling

Everyday, I can be Empathetic by caring about what my friends are doing and thinking about how they are feeling. Thinking about my friends’ feelings is really important because i can understand what has happened. Caring is really important to me too because I can look after someone when they are sad.

Why is it important to eat healthy food

It is really really healthy to eat the right food. So that you can grow, get energy and your brain can work through school.
 You really have to eat healthy food so that you can be strong and be really fit to play sports and have energy. When you eat your food you chew it with your teeth and saliva and your tongue break it down.Then it goes down your oesophagus and down to your stomach and then breaks it up more.

 Next it goes in to your small intestine and then goes into your blood. Then the food goes to your large intestine and if is too big than it will come out. You should eat healthy food so that you can be healthy, strong, fit, fast and you can grow up fast and active.

It is really good to eat healthy food because you can be strong stay fit and you can be fast at sport’s. It is really bad to eat unhealthy food because when you grow up you will not be strong, fit, fast, healthy and you will not grow any more. After that you will be really really big. If you keep on eating unhealthy food you will end up much fatter.

Commonwealth

The Commonwealth games helps to develop friendship and togetherness by building up the community. They do the commonwealth games so they can make friendship with other cultures like Samoans, Tongans, Welsh and all sorts of other cultures.. Just like Justus’s mum and dad, they help with lots of things. Like helping with the club and helping with the school and the church. Without Justus’s mum and dad Pt England school would not have any dives.

The fastest man in this whole world is Usain Bolt. He can beat anyone, he is from Jamaica. He is so fast that he makes all of the people that he vs look so so slow. Usain Bolt is an impressive champion at 4x100m relay. He was the last man to run on the relay. When it was Bolts turn to run, he used his big strong legs to run so fast straight down his lane and finished 1st place. The Jamaican team got their gold medal.

Today the Whole school went to the hall for samoan language week CP and Serenity opening us up with a pray. After that the little kids from P. I .C did a siva and then TC came on to the stage and did a siva too. Hot Air Balloon

When a hot air balloon goes to land they pull the red rope to open the parachute to release some hot air then the cold air come from the bottom and brings the hot air balloon slowly down.A hot air balloon rising from hot air because hot air is lighter than cold air.

Angry Birds

Angry Birds is a game that teaches us all about forces and movement. Isaac Newtor has 3 laws that we can see in this game.The 1st law is that nothing will move unless an outside force moves it.The 2ed law is that you need more force to move bigger things.The 3ed law is about action and reaction.When you pull back the rubber band potential energy is stored in the in the rubber band.When you release the rubber band you get kinetic energy to make the bird fly.Gravity pulls the bird down. Angry Birds is a great game as it teaches us about force movement and energy-also it is heaps of fun.

Rubberband Rocket story

Purpose: We were trying to make the rocket go so far because we need to test out the Rocket because we need to know where those the energy come from.


 Materials: So we can know where the energy come from. Method: Step 1 said that we have to hold the wing and aim where we want it to go.


 Observations: After that the rocket went in to the air and went so far and it hit Angels on the leg.


Conclusion:After we had a little play with the rocket we came in the classroom and started talking about where does the energy come from the energy come from you because when you pull the rocket it go so high because you are pulling it and you are give it so many energy to go far.

We have been learning all about independent and dependent clauses in complex sentences.

This complex sentence that I have written uses a dependent and independent clause. A dependent clause, needs extra detail so that it can complete the sentence, whereas an independent sentence could actually make a sentence on its own.

Here is my sentence:

Temperature Question

This morning the temperature was 12 degrees celsius.
By 12pm it had increased by 7 degrees so it is now 19 degrees celsius.
By 6pm the temperature then dropped by 5 degrees so it is now 14 degrees celsius.
Now at 8pm,it has dropped 3 more degrees, so the now temperature is 11 degrees celsius.

Yesterday Mr Burt came to our class to tell us how to respect our Chromebook and to look after our Chromebook and not to take our name off the Chromebook because we will lose it.
Then Mr Burt told us a story about a man with a Chromebook because this man did not look after his Chromebook because he did not want us to do what the man did.
Then when Mr Burt was finished he told us not to hold the handles with one handles he said hold it with two handles because if you don't hold it with two handles it will fall out. Hope you you like it.
