Eel

 This is a photo of a eel. When you catch a eel you got to leave some holes in there so that the water can go in and the eel is still a live.

Pukeko

 THE thing that I know about Pukeko is that they like to stay near water and wet grass. The other thing is that when a human is walking pass they run very fast and they put up there waring sign to tell the other Pukeko there is people coming. Pukeko likes to eat roots they use there peak and puts it in and it starts to eat it they really love roots and they cant stop eating it.

Camp

Last week on a hot sticky ugly Wednesday some of the year 5 and 6 went to camp and it was at school. I was so excited because it was camp. I was in the All Star with Miss Va’afusuaga. At camp the All Stars did kayaking, kill zone, cooking, The Amazing Race and Roller blading.
 The first thing the All Star did was Kayaking I did not know what happend because I was not there for Kayaking because I came late.

My favorite thing was Kill Zone but the funny thing was that the teachers called it top town and Mr Jacobson calls it ‘Kill Zone’. Kill Zone was fun because we got to have a water fight. It was so fun that we were throwing the water balloon everywhere then we ran out of balloons.

 After Kill Zone we went to Camp Cooking we made chocolate and coconuts. After we put in the ingredients we put it into the oven. We waited for how long 20mins then it was 20mins we bring the cookies and it was beautiful. After that we put it on a tray all of us had one cookie each it was so amazing.

 Next we went to Rollerblading we played table tennis, Basketball, Rollerblading and dancing. The first thing I did was table tennis then I went of and did our dance we were dancing for like 30mins then we stopped and had a little break I was lying down on the stage.

Kaitiaki of the Stream

In the Marmite group we have been reading about Kaitiaki of the Stream. There is a man who has his own Stream and he has to look after it because it use to be very very healthy but now it is not healthy any more.

Omaru Creek is so important to Pt England school because we used to go swimming.

And we use to go fishing because the fish was big but now it is so tiny.

Back in the days Omaru Creek use to be very very clean but now it is ugly.
